HTML, CSS, JavaScript and related web services

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Developing and deploying web, email and similar communications for customers
1st level technical and product support
Technical and application support to customers
Assist support processes including 2nd level escalation
Working within a support tracking and CRM system
Assist with maintaining the knowledge base
Assist with change management and customer implementation
Help with pre-installation, data gathering and design for customer projects
Perform remote upgrades and support as required
Other support and project related tasks

You will be required to maintain the internal support system and standards in place, tracking all support cases for escalation and closure, as well as work side by side with fellow staff members to ensure customer satisfaction levels are kept high. Liaison with our staff positioned between Australia and Malaysia is also required.

Given the nature of the hospitality industry and global presence and time zones iHost supports, a certain level of after-hours work and weekend coverage needs to be maintained and works on a rotating shift basis with other staff members.

We are now inviting an energetic Technical Support Specialist with an understanding and knowledge of the hospitality and hotel sectors to join the Team. A background in IT is essential and sound and demonstrated knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS and web development and programming is essential. Fluency in English and Chinese is required.

This role requires attention to detail and be able to work autonomously and as part of a team. The right person can be a resident of Singapore, Hong Kong or Malaysia or other locations within Asia.
