Responsibilities:
Your challenge is to assess risks, mainly for large industrial, manufacturing business accounts. You have to arrange insurance coverage & to propose insurance terms & conditions including risk recommendation and also negotiate and make reinsurance placement.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Chemical Engineering from reputable university
Exceptional analytical skills, solid integrity, and strong orientation to detail
Dynamic, adaptable, self-motivated and pleasant personality

Senior Treaty Underwriter (Based in Singapore)Central (Singapore)
Responsibilities:
To underwrite profitable business within stated underwriting authorities with sole responsibility for selected Asian markets with a focus on South East Asia & South Korea
Independently underwrite property and combined engineering treaties within stated authorities and local and group underwriting guidelines.
Manage the portfolio for those markets.
Provide technical guidance to junior underwriters.
Draft referrals as appropriate.
Work closely with Property Treaty manager.
Discuss and frame proposals with Client Markets including alternate solutions.
Requirements:
Min 8 years in Property Treaty underwriting
An emphasis on Per Risk treaty costing skills plus Natcat Costing Skills.
Experience of handling large /complex treaty accounts and taking leading positions.
Candidates with minimum 5 years of experience who have the ambition to reach such a position are also encouraged to apply.
A recognized degree eg in Math, Physics, Physical Sciences or Engineering
Relevant industry qualification or business degree highly regarded
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Knowledge of Asia language especially Korean will be an added advantage.

Analytical and conceptual thinker
Results orientated with an ability to influence and drive resolution in cross functional teams
Commitment to, and experience of, working in a team-based environment.
